its sad to see how easily the american people can be influenced from a guy in a suit and NO fuckin EXPERIENCE. really... are people that dumb?

i cringe every time the word "democrat" is mentioned. why would anyone want to associate themselves as that??

i never thought so many people would want to come to my wedding. I'm so excited and thankful, yet this adds to my stress level. i need to factor in another dining room table. i was trying to make only 8, to allow more space to walk around in, but i'd rather add another table than try to fit 9 or 10 at one table. I rented chargers, so they allow only 8 people to sit COMFORTABLY at a table.

today i am going over to my moms. Ordering another bird, another cake stand, reviewing all my orders thus far. Then hopefully going with her to Dillards to look at wedding attire for her and possibly bachelorette and shower outfits for me. If I can convince her to pay!

over the weekend, calvin and i purchased wedding ring bands. Calvin got a tungsten kind. apparently its the most durable kind for a man. which is good for all the mechanical stuff he does on a day to day basis. mine is a plain 14k white gold band. i figure that if i keep them separate (not melded together), i can always upgrade later in life. the jeweler also cut us a dealer cause they are one of my dad's clients, and not to mention the very expensive huge rock he just bought my mom there.

we also stopped at burlington coat factory and bought some ski jackets there. we got them for a GREAT deal. marked down to only 30 dollars each! this made us ecstatic! now, we gotta find ski pants. maybe sports authority??

OMG!!! Not only are my parents paying about 20k for the wedding, but My mom bought Calvin and I a HONEYMOON!!! I'm so THANKFUL I have parents able to do this for their children. We are going to Denver, Co for two nights and then Breckenridge, CO for 4 nights. adlfkjasdflkj!!!! I can't wait to go skiing, snowmobiling, MAKE A SNOWMAN!!!!, and oooo hit Calvin with snowballs!!

OMG!! i am overwhelmed with such gratitude for them. My parents do so much for Corinne and I. To think we struggled for most of our lives. See, this is further proof that most people start at the bottom of the barrel and work their way up!

i can't wait!!!

i don't know what to do about my bachelorette party...

These are the available dates to have it: weekend of October 25th or have it weekend of my birthday, October 10th. ((my bridal shower is on the 19th)) and i think if i wait until November, things may be a little crazy since the wedding is so close!

another question is, do i have it here? or do i go out of town?

what can everyone who wants to come even afford??

how many people are we thinking?

my perfect bachelorette party would include all the girls important to me and who want to be there. I would like to go out of town and stay at a hotel with an AWESOME pool deck and poolside bar to get some frozen drinks at. we could go out the first night to a bar within walking distance and then the following day just lay out on the deck soaking up the sun.

another option that could be equally fun is having it some where in town that i could do a theme to. i found a few ideas:

  • a shopping day that we could ride in a limo from place to place and finish it up at dinner over appetizers and cocktails

  • a fortune teller night have someone come here and tell our fortunes and read tarot cards. have wine and appetizers

  • a sports themed party where we could go to a ball game, drinks some beers, and finish it up at a sports bar... maybe even go miniature golfing too.

  • we could all go camping along the peace river and get a canoe for it too

i dont know... the baby's crying! gotta go!

    To Whom it May Concern:

I am outraged that you had interrupted ELLEN today to broadcast a storm that wasn't in my area. It was in southern naples and could have easily been broadcasted at the bottom of the screen during normal programming. Furthermore, you just repeated yourselves the ENTIRE time.

The only thing I can "count" on you for is to interrupt my shows.

    Thank you.

like, really... Ellen's show today was about her and portia's wedding.
